Food and exercise

I’ve stuck to some level of a commitment to go to the gym. Last week I made it 3 times for 30 minutes each. I feel some strength returning as some exercises get easier. I still need to work in other activities on days I don’t go to the gym just to keep myself going. My intentions are good, I just have to challenge myself. There’s always this week!

On the menu for the coming days:

  • Stuffed peppers and spaghetti squash
  • Sweet potato stew with seeded bread
  • Chicken cutlets, sauteed mushrooms, and rice
  • Beef barley soup with leftover seeded bread
  • Fish with rice pilaf and sauteed spinach

    Good post. What exercises do you do during the 30 minutes. Circuit style routine maybe.

    I’ve generally been spending half of my time on the elliptical and the rest is mixed up between various resistance machines, crunches, etc.
