Good things come to those who work out.
Well, the end of week 3 of Fitness Friends has arrived and there is nothing but good news to report. I’ve been able to stick to it without fail or dismay – I find myself looking forward to the afternoon workout more and more, actually. I’ve been able to increase the resistance on the Elliptical Machine, decrease the assistance on the Assisted Pull Up Contraption and more importantly, I’ve felt energized and healthy.
As an added bonus, this morning I pulled out an older pair of pants expecting them to come nowhere close to buttoning, especially since I’d tried to wear them back in September with no luck. Imagine my surprise when they slid on with no problem! That’s a much nicer situation than the other way around. I don’t think there is a worse way to start the morning than realizing you don’t fit into something anymore. How the hell does that sneak up on a person, anyway?
All I know is that I love having workout buddies, because it makes exercise fun. Here’s to you, Fitness Friends!
