It’s been awhile since there have been any menus posted. I’ve had a few scattershot weeks of not planning much of a menu at all and flying by the seat of my pants. This, obviously, means we don’t eat as well and lean more toward quick fixes and take out. Not so good for my health. Add to this that I haven’t been bringing calorie & carb controlled lunches due to the lack of food shopping and planning. I think I’ve gained back 2 lbs.
So, back on track this week! Here’s my simple menu for the week:
- Savoy cabbage soup with brown rice, savory crisps, and a small steak
- Breakfast for dinner
- Chicken sausage and Dreamfields penne with asparagus
- Tomato soup and grilled cheese
- Fish with mushroom risotto and a salad
